I am currently a software engineer II at Akamai Technologies, Inc. I graduated
from Lafayette College in 2022 with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).
My area of interest revolves around software
development, cloud computing, and distributed systems. With a background in ECE, I possess a
foundational understanding of computer systems from both
hardware and software perspectives. This knowledge proves valuable when designing complex,
distributed, and reliable software systems.
My first engineering experience began by tinkering with old electronics and repairing
devices for family and friends. I worked on side project on my own as well such as the shoes
that generate electricity when walking and mini solar powered computer.
I started learning programming through youtube tutorials.
I gained my first internship at the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems in
Toulouse, France, where I developed a monitoring system for uninterruptible power supplies.
I also interned as an embedded systems engineer at Vitesco Technologies in France, working
on the electronic board that controls the powertrain for electric cars.
In my junior year of college, I interned at Akamai Technologies as a hardware engineer,
developing an automatic rescue system for the company's servers.
One achievement I am proud of from my college experience is co-authoring a research
paper
titled "Minimally Invasive Monitoring of Cardiac Function for Patients with Rotary VAD
Support using the Fourier Transform Approach." Despite lacking a background in biology, I
successfully made connections between the functioning of the heart and electrical circuits.
In addition to my technical pursuits, I have a keen interest in mentoring. I aim to
inspire younger students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, to develop
an interest in and curiosity for STEM fields. Currently, I volunteer as a technical coach
for coding interview preparation
for CodePath.org.
Something that I am really good at is adapating to new environments and working with
people from diverse backgrounds. I have acquired that experience from living in different
countries: Madagascar, France, United States and Germany.
Outside of work, my hobbies include playing soccer, hiking, biking and taking dance class as
well.
Feel free to reach out if you would like to connect. I am always happy to get a network.
Fun fact: I developed this website as a hobby when I was a freshman in college,
and I have
continued to update it over time.
