I am currently an entry-level software engineer at Akamai Technologies, Inc. I graduated
from Lafayette College in May 2022. My area of interest revolves around software
development, cloud computing, and distributed systems. With a background in electrical and
computer engineering, I possess a foundational understanding of computer systems from both
hardware and software perspectives. This knowledge proves valuable when designing complex,
distributed, and reliable software systems.
Originally from Madagascar, I gained my first internship experience in France. While
completing my undergraduate studies in the United States, I also had the opportunity to
spend a semester in Germany. Living in diverse locations has taught me the importance of
adaptability and flexibility, skills that are particularly crucial in the ever-evolving
world of technology.
One achievement I'm proud of from my college experience is co-authoring a research paper
titled "Minimally Invasive Monitoring of Cardiac Function for Patients with Rotary VAD
Support using the Fourier Transform Approach." Despite lacking a background in biology, I
successfully made connections between the functioning of the heart and electrical circuits.
In addition to my technical pursuits, I have a keen interest in mentoring. I aim to
inspire younger students, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, to develop
an interest in and curiosity for STEM fields. Currently, I volunteer as a technical coach
for CodePath.org.
